You wouldn't recommend using Vista on this machine then? Is this because of the limited RAM?

No, vista requires too much resources and disk space, this would make it work too slow.

I can't wait to see the rest of the notebooks in this series. I've always wanted one but wasn't sure what kind of performance a notebook computer has, I'll be reading.
